We are a Space Safety and Logistics Company, using technology to save the Trillion $ Space industry from Debris Pollution in Space . We believe that the problems of Earth can be solved using Space. However, the rapid increase in the number of satellites is also increasing the risk of satellite collision , leading to Debris pollution- making space a dangerous place for other satellites as well as astronauts. To prevent this, we are developing an Agile, Safe, Efficient and Affordable Green Propulsion System with a new fuel, engine and catalyst for the engine to avoid satellite collision in space and prevent Debris Pollution, which can hence be a potential green alternative to the current monopropellant propulsion technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Catalyst material synthesis:
Plan and synthesize catalyst materials for high temperature (above 900 °C) applications using suitable synthesis method.
Evaluate the catalytic performance of synthesized materials under high-temperature conditions (above 900°C)
Conduct experiments to optimize the composition and properties of the catalyst materials for high temperature (above 900 °C) application.
Materials Characterization:
Strong understanding of characterization techniques like XRD, SEM, ICP, BET, PSA, TEM, XPS etc.
Develop Structure-Activity Relationships (SAR) through in-silico analysis of characterization data to elucidate how material structure influences material properties and its correlation with catalytic performance.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Compile and analyze experimental data, draw conclusions, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings to the research team and internal/external audiences (including technical documents, research papers, and patents)
Contribute to the overall research effort by compiling and organizing experimental data, preparing technical documents, and collaborating on research papers and patents.
Lab Management and Safety:
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist in the procurement and organization of materials, chemicals, and equipment necessary for experiments.
Taking care of instruments, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and validation based on schedule.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree (Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field) with experience in Heterogeneous Catalysis or Ph.D. degree in Heterogeneous Catalysis. (degree is not a compulsion but enthusiasm and equivalent knowledge is).
Knowledge and Skills:
Highly strong understanding of high temperature catalyst material and their processing techniques like sol-gel, co-precipitation, hydrothermal synthesis, microemulsion and solid-state reaction.
Proficiency in the concepts of high temperature heterogeneous catalyst, its characterization and deactivation phenomenon.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and experimental procedures related to ceramics.
Knowledge of characterization techniques such as Microscopy, Spectroscopy, Rheology, Mechanical testing and Thermal analysis.
Proficiency in data analysis, scientific writing and scientific software.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to present findings in a clear and organized manner.
Individual and Teamwork:
Ability to work independently and as part of a development team.
