Primary Purpose :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Qlik Developer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in creating automated, scalable data models and designing BI Applications using Qlik for our eClinical platform within the AWS cloud infrastructure.


Your main duties will include designing and developing reporting applications, assist with designing underlying data structures, benchmarking and optimizing performance. The goal is to intuitively and effectively summarize important clinical trial metrics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, bioinformatics programmers and analysts, software engineers, and product manager.

Responsibilities :

- Create working proof of concepts of Qlik applications for projects

- Responsible for implementation, deployment and publishing of production Qlik applications

- Review and optimize data models

- Understanding business needs to explore, visualize and present clinical trial data in Qlik Sense

- Effectively handle access to/from large databases with ability to write/edit/modify SQL to transform larger datasets

- Troubleshoot issues, both from a development as well as a performance standpoint

- Express strong voice for data integrity and reporting quality by utilizing best practices and industry standards

Qualifications :

- 3-8 years of experience in QlikView/Qlik Sense platform

Experience :

Experience in :

- Qlik Application Design & Development

- Qlik data modelling and scripting using best practice techniques

- Qlik Sense Chart Layer, Expression Language, Set Analysis

- Qlik extension, Web application (mashups) development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

- Qlik Sense administration using QMC, scheduling reload tasks, user administration.

- Strong analytical, interpersonal communication skills

- Experience of liaising with stakeholders and scoping and gathering requirements

- Develop, train and support end-users. Review finished projects and work in progress to ensure correctness, accuracy and conformance to department standards.

- Seek technical and professional information and processes regarding area of responsibility to enhance department knowledge base.

- Clinical trial experience is a plus

- Familiarity with CDISC standards is a plus

- Familiarity with AWS cloud computing services (AWS EC2, S3, Batch, CloudWatch) is a plus
