Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our talented team of engineers. The Director of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities within the company, driving product development, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and execute engineering strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the planning, prioritisation, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow and succeed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into the company's engineering practices and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-9 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in delivering complex projects/products.
  • Strong technical background, with expertise in full stack development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and change, and to adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in the IT Industry is a plus.
