Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design and Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing various types of panels, including PCC, PMCC, MCC, PLC, APFC, and PDB for industrial and commercial applications. The role involves creating detailed order documents, reviewing customer specifications, developing detailed engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with global engineering codes using tools like Eplan and AutoCAD. Additionally, the candidate will handle equipment calculations, testing, commissioning, and on-site panel settings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Panel Design : Design PCC, PMCC, MCC, PLC, APFC, PDB, and other panels for industrial and commercial use.
  • Documentation : Create detailed documents for orders, including Bill of Materials, Elevation Drawings, and Unit/Section Scheduling for approval.
  • Customer Specifications : Review customer specifications and develop detailed engineering drawings in compliance with global engineering codes using Eplan and AutoCAD.
  • Equipment Selection : Calculate and select appropriate switchgear equipment, cable sizing, busbar sizing, and starters.
  • SLD and Schematics : Design power and control Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and schematics for Star-Delta, DOL Starters, VFD, Soft Starters, Bypass VFD, heating panels, and APFC panels.
  • APFC Panels : Calculate and design APFC panels.
  • As-built Drawings : Create as-built drawings and fuel data for control and power wiring.
  • Testing and Commissioning : Test and commission panels on-site.
  • Settings Configuration : Configure settings for APFC relays, MFM meters, VFD settings, temperature controllers, PIDs, and timers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum (3) years of experience in electrical design and estimation.
  • Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Eplan, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
  • Knowledge : In-depth understanding of panel design, switchgear equipment, cable and busbar sizing, starters, and APFC calculations.
  • Technical Skills : Ability to create detailed engineering drawings, design SLDs and schematics, and perform on-site testing and commissioning.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation.
