About the job:

Title – Network Architect (SDWAN/ MPLS)

Start date: Immediate

Position Type: FTE/ Permanent

Work Time Zone: Eastern Time Zone (6 PM to 3 AM IST)

Location: Remote across India


Job Description:

  • Evaluate customer existing WAN architecture and requirement to transform in a optimal best case solution
  • Benchmark network performance to show clear improvements post transformation
  • Establish quality standards and methods that ensure on-time and in-scope delivery
  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of project including solution, design, implementation and troubleshooting in network and security domain
  • Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation, collaboration & consensus across organization
  • Should be good team-player to collaborate with counterparts and other domain experts to deliver optimal solution
  • Should have good communication skill to front-end customer and leadership discussion
  • Should have good documentation skills to cover the solution and designs in presentable format meeting the industry standards


Technical Expertise (Must have):

  • Expert in WAN connectivity of large enterprise with MPLS, SDWAN and other similar technologies to transform into high performance hybrid connectivity.
  • Must have managed complete life-cycle (Design, Implementation, Migration and Support) for project in a Multi-Vendor & complex environment.
  • Candidate Must Have Design, Implementation & Architecture Level Experience, Not Just Support/TAC/Sales/Management.
  • Candidate Must Have exposure to Lead a team of Engineers and collaborate with pre-sales team in scoping and designing solution.
  • Candidate must have strong understanding in Solution, Design and implementation of 2-3 SDWAN platform like Cisco Vipetla/CloudGenix/Versa in Hybrid environment.
  • Solid hands-on expertise in BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN - IPSEC, GRE, EVPN etc.
  • Solid design & documentation skills in network design like technical presentation, HLD, LLD etc.
  • Candidate must be presentable to client with excellent communication skills and must have excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent customer relations and inter-personal skills, ability to navigate complex organizations and get the job done by working with others.
  • Candidate must be flexible with work schedule.


Technical Expertise (Good to have):

  • Sound understanding on AWS/Azure/GCP cloud network and security components.
  • Sound understanding of firewall concept and palo alto firewalls.
  • Ability to create Visio, Word, PPT, etc. documentation for customer environment/setup.
  • Network management application experience.
