Job Role:

As an Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based infrastructure solutions for our retail clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the provisioning, reliability, security, and scalability of our clients' cloud environments while providing expert guidance on Azure best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure and networking solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of retail clients.
  • Provide expertise in implementing Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and resilient cloud solutions that align with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Configure and optimize Azure resources for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain Azure governance policies, compliance standards, and security controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Stay updated on the latest Azure features, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance client infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budget constraints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions.
  • Expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, VPNs, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Policy.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Azure environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-303, and AZ-304 are preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful Azure infrastructure and networking projects in a retail or similar industry context.
