Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Offshore Specialist in Marine Operations. The Offshore Specialist will be responsible for overseeing marine operations, coordinating activities related to boats and other maritime vessels, and training personnel on various marine operations tasks. The role will also involve collaboration with navy personnel where applicable. This is an on-site role located in Mumbai.

Qualifications

  • Marine Operations and Maritime vessel management skills
  • Experience working with ONGC operations
  • Proficiency in handling and coordinating activities related to AHTS involved in RIG moves, towing operations and anchor handling
  • To be well versed with Indian DOC and flag certification and vessel visits
  • You should be ready and open for new challenges
  • You shoud be able to guide Masters and monitor a fleet of 20 vessels under your care
  • You should be able to and have past experience witb interacting with Class and approvals
  • maintaining offshore certification along with in depth detail knowledge of the OVIQ4
  • manage and arrange inspections and accompany MWS inspectors during inspections
  • be well versed with offhaore ISM procedures and amendments of the same to be in a constant mode of change and improvement
  • Training skills relevant to marine operations and safety protocols
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment
  • Marine engineering or related certification is a plus
