Mainframe Delivery Lead

Purpose:Mainframe Delivery Leads work closely with all stakeholders such as Project Managers, Implementation Managers, Product Owners, Service Delivery, Enterprise Release, Change Management, etc. in managing the delivery of Mainframe’s Solution by defining timelines/schedules, forecasts, providing guidance to stakeholders where necessary, and ensuring compliance is adhered to, in order to deliver Mainframe’s solution for an initiative.Ownership/accountability for end to end Technology Delivery for Account Management Projects in accordance with business requirements.Ensures Mainframe’s document artefacts are in their correct state (approved, etc.) and repositories. This includes ensuring Reviews, Walkthroughs have been conducted, and Signoffs have been obtained and recorded onto their various repositories.Tracks & Ensures Rally Feature(s) are up to date and progressing as expected.Ensures risks and issues are called out in a timely manner along with implementing appropriate measures.Candidate should have experience with Banking or Financial Services IndustryEssential capabilities:Significant demonstrated Project Management within large, complex environments, preferably banking and financial servicesStrong strategic planning capabilitiesStrong understanding of project lifecycle management as this will assist with mainframe engagement aspects.Building, managing, and leading teamsAgile certification and demonstrated experience delivering projects utilising agile methodologyTrack record of operating effectively and delivering consistent results in a large complex businessProven stakeholder and vendor management skillsStrong leadership skills and experience, both directly and indirectlyExperience:10+ years technology Projects Delivery experienceExperience managing and delivering large complex projects containing multiple streams, across multiple regions, with multiple vendorsRelevant degree or qualification and a project management professional accreditationExperience across Agile and adaptive delivery models and mindsetsProven experience in Delivering and implementing high-availability mainframe solutions for complex business operations , particularly in banking or financial servicesChange, Incident and Risk management experienceExperienced with delivering technology solutions through to production environments frequentlyService Now and Rally ExperienceQualification Requirements:Tertiary degree in Finance, Banking and IT from a recognised institution is preferredAgile Certification / Project Management certification is desirable
