Public Relations Manager - Magicdecor® (India)
Magicdecor® is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Manager to lead our marketing communications team in India. This role upholds our corporate image while increasing brand awareness across the diverse Indian market. We’re looking for professionals with a strong public relations and team management track record, capable of developing and maintaining crucial relationships with media professionals, identifying press opportunities, and leveraging our brand story across India's ever-expanding digital landscape. Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, exemplary storytelling abilities, and a deep understanding of social media strategy within the Indian context.
Objectives of this role
Oversee public relations and public-facing marketing strategies tailored for the Indian market.
Develop and maintain an impressive corporate image for Magicdecor® in India.
Coordinate press opportunities and media engagements across various Indian regions and languages.
Nurture and leverage relationships with existing and potential media partners in India.
Review and manage PR budget and goals specifically for the Indian market.
Grow and maintain stellar brand awareness for Magicdecor® throughout India.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and propose public relations objectives aligned with Magicdecor®'s India strategy.
Develop a marketing communications plan focusing on the Indian market and cultural nuances.
I'd like you to please oversee the social media team and assess digital content for relevance and resonance in India.
Manage media inquiries and schedule interviews with Indian media outlets and journalists.
Process, monitor, and communicate quarterly PR reports with insights into the Indian market.
Stay on top of industry trends, particularly those relevant to India's PR and media landscape.
Skills and qualifications
Extraordinary leadership abilities to inspire and guide the India marketing communications team.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English and relevant Indian languages.
Strong understanding of all social media channels popular in India.
Superb communication and relationship-building skills, especially within the Indian context.
Exceptional marketing strategy skills with an understanding of India's diverse market.
Thorough knowledge of current industry trends, both global and India-specific.
Preferred qualifications
Impressive public-speaking skills in English and relevant Indian languages.
Experience with event planning and management in India.
Content management system (CMS) knowledge.
Sharp attention to detail.
Established media relationships in India.
Great time management skills.
