BROADCAST ASSOCIATE


Tesseract Esports is looking for self-driven and passionate Broadcast Associate to join our team. As a Broadcast Associate you will be required to observe, train, participate and gain first-hand knowledge of production and broadcasting processes and workflows. You will be trained in different roles like show observing, replays, switching, game directing, show directing etc. You will be working closely with the operations and creative teams and will report to the production manager.



About Tesseract Esports 

Tesseract Esports was founded in 2015 with an intent to transform mobile gaming into professional esport. We were the first company to introduce mobile esports in South and Southeast Asia. Tesseract has since gone to partner with game publishers, brands to produce esports events and tournaments across South and Southeast Asia and went on to become the premier esports production services company in the region. We are headquartered in Hyderabad, India and work closely with partners globally. 


We currently specialize in providing full and partial white-labeled tournament management, Broadcast and technology services & Creative services for business seeking authentic esports engagements. We've recently worked with Krafton Inc, Gamers8, Tencent Games, Qualcomm, Razer, Garena, and several other partners on many successful live and online esports activations.


            

You will be responsible for (not limited to)

·       Assist in all aspects of live broadcasting and production.

·       Operation of streaming and broadcasting production from control rooms including setting up and running live switching, mixing, monitoring, recording and encoding equipment and tasks, both individually and as part of a larger crew

·       Support implementation of new and emerging and projects as needed. This includes evaluating and learning of new software and hardware.

·       Assist in talent management, game coordination, player communications and management.



Qualifications (Required)

·       Bachelor’s degree.

·       Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

·       Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite. 

·       Passionate about gaming and esports.

·       Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast paced work environment.

·       Very comfortable with technology, learning technical processes and troubleshooting.

·       Proactive, creative, fast learner, enthusiastic and adaptable

Qualifications (Preferred)

·      Proficiency in vMix is a major plus.

·      Experience in streaming, video, audio, and broadcast technology or related field (gaming, esports, sports, broadcasting is preferred).
