This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs - Rs (ie INR 2.5-3.5 LPA)Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bengaluru, Chennai JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder (Sr. Analyst) with strong expertise in ED facility & profee coding, E&M outpatient multispecialty denials, and surgery coding. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of medical coding guidelines, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate, compliant coding across multiple specialties. Requirements Key Responsibilities Perform accurate and compliant coding for ED facility, ED profee, surgery, and multispecialty E&M outpatient services . Review and resolve multispecialty denials , ensuring proper coding corrections and documentation support. Validate clinical documentation to ensure correct code assignment according to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to clarify documentation, coding updates, and process improvement opportunities. Maintain strong quality and productivity standards while ensuring adherence to coding rules and guidelines. Stay updated with changes in coding regulations, payer policies, and industry best practices. Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical coding (mandatory). Certified coders only – CPC or equivalent recognized certification. Hands-on experience in: Surgery coding E&M outpatient coding ED profee & facility coding IVR coding Strong understanding of denial management and specialty-specific coding scenarios. Ability to analyze, verify, and correct codes with high accuracy. Good communication and documentation skills.
