Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Firmware and Software Development: Design and implement firmware and software for Microcontroller Units (MCUs), adhering to the specified architecture, particularly in the context of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Develop distinct layers of firmware according to the system architecture and create application software tailored for MCU functionalities. Additionally, gather and analyze pertinent data for motor parameter estimation purposes.
  • Debugging : Utilize debugging tools or bootloaders to ensure the flawless installation of error-free software onto MCUs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise user-friendly tools simplifying processes such as parameter updates and code flashing for all stakeholders.
  • Testing : Formulate comprehensive test cases for both component-level and system-level testing of software, ensuring compliance with various functional requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting : Maintain meticulous documentation of all firmware and software developed, including detailed records of collected data for parameter estimation.
  • Establish and sustain a comprehensive test case matrix to monitor the fulfillment of MCU functional requirements accurately.


Preferred Skills:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Regular).
  • Motor Control Expertise: Proficiency in various motor control algorithms for IPMSM, SPMSM, BLDC, and IM motors , coupled with a solid understanding of power electronics principles.
  • Hardware and Software Experience: Extensive experience working with microcontrollers , Digital Signal Processors (DSPs), and embedded systems. Proficiency in embedded C programming is essential, along with familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated competence in compilation, flashing, and debugging processes and tools. Hands-on experience with microcontroller functionalities such as PWM, ADC, Interrupts, DMA, as well as familiarity with communication protocols including CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
  • RTOS and Testing Proficiency: Prior experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS ) and a strong background in software testing methodologies.
