Job Overview:

Whispering Homes Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Executive to oversee and streamline our order fulfillment and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily shipping operations, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily shipping activities including order processing, packing, and dispatch.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners (e.g., Blue Dart, Delhivery) for timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Track shipments and proactively address delivery issues or delays.
  • Maintain and verify accurate shipping documentation such as invoices, packing slips, and manifests.
  • Optimize packaging techniques to reduce costs and minimize damages.
  • Record and manage data related to shipments, returns, and customer shipping complaints.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce shipping errors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and government shipping regulations.
  • Support in negotiating with vendors for improved shipping rates and service terms.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce shipping and courier coordination.
  • Proficiency in shipping software and inventory management tools (Zoho Inventory preferred).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in e-commerce or retail logistics.
  • Familiarity with Magento or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of cost-effective packaging and shipping practices.
