Senior Quantity Surveyor (On-Site, Surat)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled
Senior Quantity Surveyor
with
7–10 years of expertise in cost and quantity estimation
. The role requires an individual with proven capability in managing large-scale construction budgets, preparing and analysing
Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
, and ensuring financial discipline throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and verification of
  Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
  for multiple projects.
• Conduct
  detailed cost estimation, cost planning, and cost reporting
  for all project stages.
• Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare regular financial forecasts.
• Validate on-site measurements, perform
  quantity take-offs
  , and certify works executed.
• Manage
  variations, claims, and contract administration
  with contractors and consultants.
• Provide commercial insight and cost-related advice to support management decision-making.
• Ensure strict compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and quantity surveyors within the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in
  Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
  .
• 7–10 years of proven experience
  in cost and quantity estimation within the real estate or construction industry.
• Expertise in
  BOQ preparation, cost management, estimation, and contract handling
  .
• Strong knowledge of
  construction contracts, FIDIC/IS codes, and regulatory compliance
  .
• Exceptional
  analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  .
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working on
  large-scale residential, commercial, or township projects
  will be preferred.
