POSITION INFORMATION
Position Title: Tech. Lead HCM Systems - India
Division/Dept: HR
Location: Gurgaon/Hyderabad, India (Remote)
POSITION SUMMARY (the reasons the position exists; a summary of what the is position is responsible for):
Improve delivery of HR technical and functional services, implementing HR technologies, aligning HR/People strategy with business strategies, streamlining and standardizing HR policies, practices/processes. Partner and help transform the HR organization to be more effective in managing human capital and supporting business units by working with IT, Payroll, internal partners, and third-party administrators.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Improve delivery of HR technical and functional services, implementing HR technologies, aligning HR/People strategy with business strategies, streamlining and standardizing HR policies, practices and processes
Identify improvement and automation opportunities to transform the HR organization to be more effective in managing human capital and supporting business units by working with IT, Payroll, internal partners, and third-party administrators.
Translate business needs to functional/technical specifications by partnering with internal and external partners.
Work with outsourced partner (s) in design/develop and implement solutions.
SME on various HR Processes (Hire to Retire) and will lead any future releases and process enhancements as needed
Conduct analysis and present solutions options to HR process owners including benefit costs.
Configure and design solutions to meet business requirements for HR systems including PeopleSoft HCM, Benefits Administration, Payroll, ePerformance, eBenefits, and eCompensation modules
Analyze and resolve production support issues/payroll/benefit discrepancies issues with third party system administrator; where appropriate escalate to Director. .
Administer, audit, and monitor HR systems transactions and reports to ensure data integrity, reconcile discrepancies and identify corrective actions needed to improve data quality.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and recommend appropriate resolution on reported issues.
Familiar with software development life cycle and ability to write business requirements document(s), functional and/or technical specifications.
Mentor and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity; guide junior staff within HCM.
Implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support of medium-large scale solutions.
Maintain PeopleSoft security and tree structures for HR
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS :
Strong In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft Query, PeopleSoft Trees, PeopleSoft Workflow, configuration design and security around multiple PeopleSoft HCM modules including Benefits Administration, Compensation (including eCompensation), Workforce Development (including ePerformance) and Payroll, Employee/Manager Self Service.
Ability to troubleshoot issues leveraging functional HR domain knowledge
Proficient in Application Designer tools including Application Engine programs, Peoplecode, SQR and PS Query
Ability to explain verbally complex and technical subject matter in clear precise manner to a non-technical audience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication
Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 implementations
Experience with PeopleSoft Reporting and PeopleSoft trees
Prefer candidates with Peoplesoft 9.2 experience, Talent Management (Acquisition, Performance Management) Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Compensation, Workforce Planning and Succession Planning
Ability to prioritize and organize short-term and long-term responsibilities in response to changing demands.
Experience in working on global projects and is able to coordinate with multiple global and functional stakeholders.
Have a customer service oriented approach towards work and help enhance the overall employee experience.
Good verbal/written communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience required
Minimum of 5 yrs. HRIS experience required, preferably PeopleSoft.
Have 5 years of blended PeopleSoft Functional and technical expertise
Technical training experience, ability to assess learning needs and develop training documents
5+ years with human resource functional knowledge and experience; benefits and compensation and payroll experience preferred
Completion implementing 2 solutions including requirements gathering, functional specification documentation, testing, and deployment.
