Skills, qualifications Effective HVAC system troubleshooting is essential for efficiency and speedy problem resolution. A A comprehensive understanding of the refrigeration cycle is essential for ensuring efficient system operation in healthcare settings. Proficiency in brazing and soldering is required for reliable and leak-free HVAC system connections. Required skill: handling refrigerants. Experience installing ducting for efficient air distribution and system integrity in critical medical situations. Ability to monitor and maintain HVAC temperatures with digital thermometers. Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems using HVAC-R tools. Optimising HVAC system performance and energy savings using smart thermostat programming. Responsibility and Roles Regularly inspect and maintain HVAC systems to guarantee optimal performance and healthcare compliance. Maintain hygienic settings by diagnosing and fixing HVAC issues quickly. Install, repair, and maintain healthcare-specific HVAC ductwork and filtration systems. Keep HVAC equipment in good working order for optimal service delivery. Work with hospital workers to understand HVAC needs and restrictions to customise solutions. HVAC maintenance and repair work should be documented for transparency and accountability. Keep up with industry advances to improve HVAC efficiency and sustainability.
