Job Description: Marketing Intern for Cyber Security Events

Reports To

: Associate Director of MarketingDuration

: 6 months internship

Role Overview

: We are seeking proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Interns to assist in organizing and promoting our international cybersecurity events, conferences, webinars, masterclasses and Summits. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, digital marketing, content creation, and speaker outreach, while working closely with industry leaders and gaining international exposure.

Key Responsibilities

:Speaker Outreach

:Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential speakers and panelists.Manage speaker correspondence, confirmations, and logistical arrangements.Collaborate with the production team to coordinate speaker schedules and requirements.Event Production

:Support the planning and execution of event logistics, including venue arrangements, technology setup, and on-site coordination.Help create and manage event timelines, checklists, and production schedules.Assist in sourcing and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and partners.Marketing and Digital Marketing

:Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.Create engaging content for event promotions, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and press releases.Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.Content Creation

:Assist in the creation of promotional materials, event brochures, and multimedia content.Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing marketing assets.Support the development of event agendas, speaker bios, and session descriptions.Administrative Support

:Maintain organized records of event planning activities, communications, and marketing materials.Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.

Required Qualifications

:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.Strong interest in cybersecurity, technology, and event management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms).Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Creative mindset with a passion for content creation and storytelling.
