Job Description: Marketing Intern for Cyber Security Events


Reports To: Associate Director of Marketing

Duration: 6 months internship


Role Overview: We are seeking proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Interns to assist in organizing and promoting our international cybersecurity events, conferences, webinars, masterclasses and Summits. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, digital marketing, content creation, and speaker outreach, while working closely with industry leaders and gaining international exposure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Speaker Outreach:
  • Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential speakers and panelists.
  • Manage speaker correspondence, confirmations, and logistical arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the production team to coordinate speaker schedules and requirements.
  • Event Production:
  • Support the planning and execution of event logistics, including venue arrangements, technology setup, and on-site coordination.
  • Help create and manage event timelines, checklists, and production schedules.
  • Assist in sourcing and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
  • Marketing and Digital Marketing:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Create engaging content for event promotions, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Content Creation:
  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials, event brochures, and multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing marketing assets.
  • Support the development of event agendas, speaker bios, and session descriptions.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain organized records of event planning activities, communications, and marketing materials.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.


Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity, technology, and event management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for content creation and storytelling.
