QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. This role involves a blend of technical skills and collaborative communication to drive product excellence. You'll be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing automation tests, contributing to our automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run and analyze API and UI test automations.
  • Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and releases.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document automated test components.
  • Participate in code and documentation reviews to maintain high quality standards.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and provide technical support.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance quality and performance.
  • Apply technical expertise to solve complex QA and automation challenges.
  • Work within Agile methodologies, participate in Scrum processes, and maintain version control using Git/SourceTree.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in QA Automation, specifically with API and/or UI automation.

  • Essential Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in C# and Python.

  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and troubleshooting automation test cases.
  • Solid knowledge of Test Planning, Test Case Development, Test Execution, and Defect Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git/SourceTree.
  • Experience with desktop automation tools and Selenium.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Good to have:

  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
