We're seeking a Senior HFT Trader specializing in Indian Options with a focus on forecasting short-term price movements and monetization. This role is perfect for those passionate about options trading and quantitative research, particularly in applying machine learning techniques to trading strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for fund managers who want to independently manage their own book.

Responsibilities

- Develop and refine algorithmic trading strategies for Indian options market making, emphasizing alpha generation. - Conduct quantitative analyses to identify market inefficiencies and monetization opportunities. - Use machine learning techniques to enhance strategy development, back testing, and optimization. - Collaborate with exceptional quants and traders to integrate innovative strategies into broader trading operations. - Utilize advanced tools for robust back testing to ensure strategy efficacy in live market conditions.

Qualifications

- Advanced degree (Masters/Ph.D. preferred) in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial engineering, etc.). - Proven expertise in quantitative modelling and programming (C++, Python, etc.). - Minimum of 4 years of experience in options market making, preferably on the NSE exchange. - Comprehensive knowledge of options volatility surfaces, curve optimization, and risk management techniques. - Exceptional research experience in market microstructure, thriving in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
