Placement Specialist Job Description

Placement Specialist Responsibilities & Duties

  • Screen, interview and assess job seekers to match them with suitable job openings
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers to understand their hiring needs
  • Create and maintain a database of job opportunities and track job placements
  • Develop and implement strategies to source, attract and retain top talent
  • Provide career counseling and support to job seekers, including resume writing and interview preparation
  • Partner with other departments within the organization to create and implement new initiatives
  • Provide regular reports to management on placement and outreach activities

Placement Specialist Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to large groups
  • Strong network in the local job market
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a job placement, recruitment or talent acquisition role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of local job market and employment laws

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
