We are seeking a motivated and experienced Purchase Manager to join at our Client place based at Thane, Mumbai (Maharashtra). As a Purchase Manager - Chemical will be responsible for managing the procurement of chemicals and related materials for our clients. This is a full-time position located at company headquarters in Mumbai. The salary range for this role is competitive and will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Qualifications and Skills:-
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in chemical procurement, preferably in a similar roleStrong knowledge of chemical products, market trends, and supplier networksExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliersProficient in using procurement software and toolsAttention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsKnowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards in chemical procurementAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficientlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
Roles and Responsibilities :-
Developing and implementing procurement strategies for chemicals and related materialsIdentifying and selecting reliable suppliers for chemical procurement, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationshipsMonitoring and forecasting chemical market trends and prices, ensuring cost-effective procurementCollaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their chemical requirements and coordinating the procurement processManaging inventory levels and maintaining accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and pricingEnsuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards in chemical procurementConducting regular performance evaluations of suppliers and identifying areas for improvementStaying updated on industry developments and advancements in chemical procurement practices.
