About CompanyThe company operates within the chemical manufacturing industry, specializing in advanced solutions for adhesives and coating materials that serve diverse sectors like paints, packaging, construction, textiles, and furniture.Job DescriptionThe Finance Controller will be responsible for driving financial integrity, transparency, and compliance across the company. The role entails managing financial reporting, statutory and internal audit, accounting processes and controls, internal financial controls (IFC). The Controller will serve as the financial custodian ensuring timely and accurate closure of books, adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS), and strong governance.ResponsibilitiesA. Financial Reporting and governance of accounting process/ controlsEnsure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts as per Ind AS and corporate policies.Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements for management and statutory purposes.Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants to ensure smooth audits and compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST provisions.Ensure all accounting entries and reconciliations (GL, vendor, customer, inter-company) are timely and accurate.Oversee fixed assets accounting and capitalization across all manufacturing units.Oversee accounts payable team members and process including ensuring compliance of MSME law and timely
