About the team:

Cortex EMEA Professional services team handling 25+ clients. It provides solutions across the industry that cater to retail transactions processing across world.

What you will be doing:Conduct various types of research and analysis to support business operations of an internal business segment, division, group or line ofbusiness. Assist management in resolving business issues in an effective and productive manner. Design, document and re-engineerbusiness processes and publish business metrics results.Advanced professional role. Wide-ranging experience using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues increative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside ownarea of expertise. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).

What you will need:A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.10+ Years of relevant experience required.Knowledge of FIS products and services; in-depth knowledge of products and services in assigned line(s) of businessKnowledge of financial services industryKnowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software developmentKnowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six SigmaKnowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of businessIn-depth understanding of design patterns and their applicationFluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, etc.Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributorRequired SkillsFunctional ConsultingOptional SkillsCortexIST SwitchMicrosoft SQL ServerUnix CUnix Shell
