  2. Develop departmental strategy, budgets, and performance goals.

  3. Mentor and train team members to build technical competency.

  4. Operations & Maintenance- Oversee installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation systems.

  5. Ensure uptime, reliability, and efficiency of electrical systems, PLC/DCS, SCADA, automation, and instrumentation.

  6. Review preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

  7. Troubleshoot major equipment failures and optimize maintenance costs.

  8. Compliance & Safety

  9. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

  10. Implement energy conservation and electrical safety practices.

  11. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and safety drills.

  12. Projects & Upgrades- Plan and execute E&I projects including expansions, upgrades, and modernization.

  13. Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants.

  14. Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project schedules.

  15. Cost & Energy Management- Optimize power consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.

  16. Prepare and manage departmental budgets.

  17. Monitor KPIs related to downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and energy efficiency.

  18. Documentation & Reporting- Maintain documentation for all electrical and instrumentation assets.

  19. Ensure timely preparation of MIS, reports, and audits.

  20. Support ISO, statutory, and internal audits.
