Maintenance Engineer

Position: Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking dynamic Mechanical & Electrical Engineers with 2–5 years of experience to support our plant maintenance and production operations. The role involves hands-on work in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving machines & utilities used in foundry, fabrication, and railway component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities.
• Handle mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, cranes, shot blasting machines, heat treatment furnaces, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Handle electrical systems including motors, drives, panels, wiring, power distribution, PLC-based controls, and safety systems.
• Support production teams by ensuring minimal downtime and quick fault rectification.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and calibration of new machines and equipment.
• Maintain records, checklists, and documentation related to maintenance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Work with senior engineers on projects for capacity expansion, modernization, and energy efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance or production support in heavy engineering/foundry/fabrication industries.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical panels, motors, PLCs, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Ability to handle shop-floor challenges and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
