Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in service procurement and vendor management, with a strong business acumen and problem-solving attitude.
You will be the go-to person for all procurement-related insights and data, playing a critical role in managing a high quantum of vendor interactions and negotiations.
What you'll do :
Manage end-to-end service procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
Act as a data bank for procurement activities, providing insights and analytics to support business decisions.
Maintain and update procurement records and data using advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Collaborate with various departments to identify procurement needs and align them with business goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure smooth procurement operations.
What you'll need :
Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in service procurement, preferably in the quick commerce industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data management and analysis.
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a proactive ‘own it’ attitude.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for effective decision-making.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and vendor management in a high-volume environment.
