Manager - Finance (Global Taxation)

Job Description:
Assist in the preparation and filing of direct & Indirect tax returns (Corporate Income tax, withholding tax, GST returns) accurately and within deadlines. Gather and organize financial data, documents, and records required for tax calculations and filings. Support the research and implementation of tax technology solutions. Support the FPA teams in forecasting the corporate tax numbers. Conduct research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities and potential risks. Assist in evaluating the tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and investments. Maintaining the status of the open litigations, tax risks analysis and defense strategy on ongoing basis. Ability to independently analyze and interpret provisions under the Income Tax Act as also provisions pertaining to International Tax, dealing with interpretation of Tax Treaties. Knowledge of International taxation and transfer pricing. Knowledge of Master File and CbCR reports. Finalization of TDS & TCS Working, Tax payment & filling of TDS & TCS Return Tax Report All tax GL reconciliation (TDS/TCS, Professional Tax, GST, customers). Assisting in Tax audit, Statutory audit. Support tax planning initiatives to optimize the organizations overall tax position. Address any queries from tax authorities and assist in tax audits and Income tax/ GST assessments. Participate in special tax projects as needed, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, or other significant transactions. Evaluate tax regulations and keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.Profile Description :
Chartered Accountant or an equivalent degree in Accounting and Finance. Practical knowledge on US and SG law is added advantage. Minimum 5-7 years work experience in direct & Indirect taxes. Good communication and relationship building skills. Good understanding of accounting rules and analyse the financial information. Passion for learning and adaptability to the tax technology changes.
