Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Quality Analyst who is passionate about ensuring software/data service quality. The Senior Quality Analyst must have the ability to organize testing efforts, follow test plans and execute manual test cases across different browsers for a variety of systems. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases/suites.

• Test new features built by the Development team.

• Data testing and data validation is a must

• Perform regression testing on existing features.

• Work closely with the QA automation team to continuously augment the QA Automation coverage.

• Work closely with the development team to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.

• Work closely with the rest of the QA team to refine the QA processes, share knowledge and best practices, plan release testing and distribute testing work.

• Work closely with the Product Management team to understand the business requirements of features under test.

• Mentor and technically assist junior team members, enhancing skill development and leading by example to ensure high-quality deliverables.


Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• 2 to 6 years' experience in software/data QA.

• Experience in testing web-based products (cross-browser testing experience)

• Demonstrated ability in writing and executing manual QA tests.

• Ability to write complex queries against relational databases.


Good to Have:

• Experience with testing of API/Web Services. 

• Knowledge of Cloud services.

• Usage of Jenkins.

• Experience in using Selenium or similar testing tool.

• Experience with Agile software development process.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Programming knowledge.

• Knowledge of Jmeter, SoapUI.

• Passionate about ensuring the quality of all deliverables.

• Strong attention to detail, process-oriented, with focus on effectiveness and efficiency.

• Strong belief in a team culture.

• Dedicated to continuous improvement and willingness to learn new things (Technical and business).

• Pragmatic approach to the QA process.

• Willingness to work in an Agile and fast paced environment.
