Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks and scripts for our cloud-based software products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Shell, with hands-on experience in testing Soap and Rest web service APIs, working with databases, data processing, and analytical tools, and proficiency in SQL language.
You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product management teams to ensure that our software releases meet quality standards and are free of defects. You will also be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting software defects, and reporting on testing progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a quality assurance or test engineering role
- Proven track record of designing and implementing automation test frameworks and scripts from scratch
- Strong experience in analyzing requirements, developing comprehensive test plans, and proficiently identifying and documenting software defects
- Hands-on experience in testing Soap and Rest web service APIs
- Experience working with databases, data processing, and analytical tools and familiarity with SQL language
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell
- Strong aptitude for learning, excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and market rates.
