Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-Solution Architect - HVR
In this role, As a Solution Architect specializing in HVR (High Volume Replication), your role and responsibilities typically revolve around designing, implementing, and maintaining data replication solutions for high-volume and real-time data movement between heterogeneous systems.
 
Responsibilities
· You'll be responsible for understanding the business requirements and designing appropriate data replication solutions using HVR technology. This involves analyzing source and target systems, data structures, network infrastructure, and performance.
· Stay updated with the latest advancements in data replication technologies, including HVR, and evaluate how they align with business needs. You may need to compare HVR with other replication tools to determine the best fit for specific use cases. 
· Lead the implementation of HVR solutions, including installing and configuring HVR software, setting up replication channels, defining data mappings and transformations, and ensuring data consistency and integrity throughout the replication process. 
· Monitor and optimize the performance of HVR replication processes to meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for data latency, throughput, and availability. This may involve fine-tuning configurations, optimizing network bandwidth usage, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks. 
· Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to integrate HVR replication solutions with existing systems, databases, and applications. Ensure seamless data flow between different platforms and environments while maintaining data quality and consistency. 
· Implement security measures to protect sensitive data during replication, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS. 
· Set up monitoring tools and processes to track the health and performance of HVR replication environments. Proactively identify and address issues such as data conflicts, replication failures, and data consistency errors. 
· Create comprehensive documentation for HVR configurations, processes, and best practices. Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff and end-users on using and maintaining HVR replication solutions effectively. 
· Continuously assess the effectiveness of HVR replication solutions and identify opportunities for improvement. Propose and implement enhancements to optimize data replication processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. 
· Maintain relationships with HVR vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, license management, and obtaining technical support when needed.
 
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
· Experience on HVR
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus. 
· Proficiency in database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others.
· Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data mapping/transformation techniques.
· Good interpersonal, problem solving and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
· Relevant certifications in database management (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, etc.) 
· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
· Knowledge of big data technologies and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
· Understanding of data warehousing concepts and solutions.
