Green Sparrow Solar Nest (P) Ltd., a leading renewable-energy developer and EPC company, is seeking a General Manager – Solar Projects (Ground Mount) to lead our growing portfolio of solar installations across Tamil Nadu. About the Role We are looking for an accomplished professional with hands-on experience in designing and executing utility-scale ground-mount solar power plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing multiple project teams, and ensuring seamless execution from concept to commissioning. Key Responsibilities • Lead and monitor all project activities — from design, procurement, and construction to commissioning. • Supervise and coordinate multiple teams working across different project sites. • Track work progress, employee KPIs, and ensure accountability across departments. • Prepare and report performance metrics, project status, and operational updates to the Board on a regular basis. • Ensure compliance with technical standards, timelines, and cost targets. • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution. • Must be willing to travel to project sites as required. Requirements • Proven experience in ground-mount solar power-plant design and execution. • 8–12 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a similar senior management or leadership role. • Strong project-management, analytical, and leadership skills. • Excellent communication and team-coordination abilities. • Proficiency in Tamil and English is mandatory. • Hindi is an added advantage. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
