Position Hiring for Buisness Head - GIFT City

Location : GIFT City, Ahmedabad

Note : We are open / would prefer to hire someone to work part-time with us for 3 days a week from the GIFT city office. We are extremely flexible to candidates who want to resume back from a career break.

Who are we looking for?

We are currently seeking a business head for GIFT City. The candidate will be responsible for business development, maintaining relationships, representing the company, and overseeing day-to-day operations, with stakeholders in our GIFT City, Ahmedabad office. The stakeholder will have one person reporting in him/her.

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the startup ecosystem.
• Do business development activities with other businesses in GIFT city
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve growth targets.

2. Networking:

• Represent Treelife at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Create a network of partners including real estate, office infrastructure, potential clients, partners, and industry professionals to generate business leads, alliances and partnerships.

3. Stakeholder Liaison:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry associations.
• Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders to address concerns and ensure compliance with regulatory changes.

4. Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the GIFT City office.
• Manage the Profit and Loss (PNL), and implement efficient operational processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
• Keep an eye out for the latest developments in GIFT city

What are the key requirements for the role?

• No-bar on the academic background
• 10-12+ years of working experience as business head/business roles of which atleast, preferred last 2 years should be in GIFT City
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage Business operations, generate revenue, and manage P&L effectively.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to financial and legal advisory services.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives.
• Take ownership of tasks, work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
