THE ROLE IN BRIEFLead HR Team at the plant so as to help build a performing culture at the manufacturing site, and ensure that all the aspects of HR and people operations are carried out effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESImplementation of the HR initiatives, programs and policies in line with organizational objectives.

Designing & executing HR strategy across Plant to meet business challenges with primary focus on recruitment, retention, overall talent management, learning and development, culture & values, people engagement.

Recruitment:
Getting the manpower requisition from various departments w.r.t. the current vacancies (replacement/new position).

Verifying the requisition against sanctioned manpower department wise for both contract & company, Tying up with consultants for critical hiring.

Deciding on interview panel for interviewing prospective candidates. Salary negotiations with the candidate as per the current salary range for the said position. Taking management approval for the hiring.
Develop and implement the Learning and Development initiatives for the employees at Plant in line with organizational objectives. Ensure that training calendar is prepared for the year. Ensure induction & orientation of new joinees. Coordinate with external agencies for imparting behavioral training to workmen & staff. Ensure documentation of training records.
Ensure all statutory compliance, and represent the organization amongst Enforcement Authorities on matters of Labour laws, permissions & renewals.

Ensure that all statutory and non-statutory welfare activities are carried out, so that the employees get the best benefit and are satisfied.

Guiding the HR team in adherence of SOPs, and alteration of SOPs as and when needed, in coordination the Directors and Corporate HR Head.

Discussing employee issues & grievances individually to come up with amicable solutions. Coordinating with HOD, Site Head, Corporate HR, Directors for resolving grievances and improving employee satisfaction.
Managing contractors deployed at plant. Review contracts with various contractors for various departments. Review manpower quantity and quality assigned to various departments. Explore contractors for deployment for meeting sanctioned manpower as and when required. Regular interaction with contractors to ensure sanctioned manpower deployment on day-to-day basis.
Liaison with external agencies, neighboring industries, MIDC, villages and authorities at local level for smooth functioning of plant.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and applicable policies and guidelines in the departmental activity.

Train and Update HR team on newer HR processes, critical HR parameters & initiativesMentor and coach subordinates to develop the team's capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline.

Provide guidance and support to team members, where required.
Foster an environment of learning, excellence and team work across the function.
Conduct timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance and provide feedback to team members.
Monitor the performance of the team on a continuous basis to identify key performers.
Ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of critical employees.
Foster an environment of learning, excellence and team-work across the function.

Qualifications :
Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in HR with graduation in any discipline

Experience :
About 15 years of relevant work experience in similar industry with

last 3 years in similar position

in a mid-size unit.

NOT worked in service industry in the last 3 yrs .

Salary
