Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced MySQL DBA / Developer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in managing and developing MySQL databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database design, development, administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and ensuring high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases, schemas, tables, and stored procedures.
  • Monitor, optimize, and fine-tune database performance.
  • Implement database security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Perform data migrations, upgrades, and replication setups.
  • Collaborate with development teams for database design and query optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in MySQL database administration and development.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
  • Knowledge of backup/recovery methods and high-availability setups (clustering/replication).
  • Hands-on experience with stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of ETL, data modeling, and SQL best practices.
