Responsibility :

1. Independently design, develop, and optimize embedded software modules, with a focus on areas such as OS enabling, driver development, and firmware development.

2. Develop UML and sequence diagrams at the module and subsystem levels.

3. Contribute to the application, feature, and component design based on system requirements.

4. Debug and resolve hardware and software technical problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams for timely resolutions.

5. Create integration and regression test strategies, execute tests, and generate results with debug logs.

6. Ensure compliance with static and dynamic analysis standards to deliver high-quality embedded software packages.

7. Select appropriate software development techniques, including reusing, improving, and reconfiguring existing embedded models.

8. Respond to customer/client requests in a timely and professional manner.

9. Mentor and support Developer II/Software Engineers to enhance their effectiveness in their roles.

Requirements :

Must Have :

1. Proficiency in embedded software development, including C and C++.

2. Experience in developing bare metal state machines and hardware drivers.

3. Familiarity with middleware frameworks, such as OpenCV for computer vision.

4. Knowledge of vehicle bus stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP) for configuration and debugging.

5. Expertise in developing and testing various MCU software features, including power management, HVAC, user settings, cameras configuration, audio amplifiers, and diagnostics.

6. Hands-on experience with development tools like GIT, SVN, Gerrit, Bitbucket, Vector Da Vinci, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and Vector CANoe.

7. Proficiency in using protocol analyzers, network and traffic analyzers, audio analyzers, video analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and JTAG emulators.

8. Ability to prepare technical specifications and understand hardware/software architecture.

9. Good written and verbal communication skills.

10. Proactive in seeking and offering help to the team.

Knowledge :

1. Knowledge of the automotive domain, including AUTOSAR, ADAS, and computer vision.

2. Understanding of semiconductor architecture at the IP level.

3. Familiarity with multimedia, DSP fundamentals, and media standards.

4. Knowledge of communication protocols and streaming protocols.

5. Understanding of embedded real-time systems internals.

6. Knowledge of ARM TrustZone and Secure OS like OPTEE for Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).

7. Comprehension of ARM/X86 boot flow, memory initialization, bootROM architecture, and UBoot development.

8. Knowledge of key peripherals, including USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, DDR, PCIe, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and timers.

Soft Skills :

1. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

3. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
