Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant
Location: Kilpauk, Chennai
Compensation: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking an Accountant with basic accounting knowledge to manage daily revenue reconciliation, MIS preparation, and other labour-oriented accounting tasks. The role will begin as Work From Home (WFH) for the next 4 months (due to office renovation) and will transition to on-site work at Kilpauk from January.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile daily revenues and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and update MIS reports regularly.
  • Support routine accounting and finance-related tasks.
  • Handle labour-oriented accounting activities as assigned.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all reports.

Requirements

  • Education: B.Com Graduate or relevant.
  • Experience: Candidates with up to 1–2 years of accounting experience.
  • Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel / Tally preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
  • Mindset: Willingness to take up labour-intensive and detail-oriented work.

Work Mode

  • WFH: Next 4 months (till December).
  • Work from Office: From January, at our Kilpauk office.
