About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled React Native Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team full-time. This is a unique opportunity to work in a startup environment where your contributions will directly shape the future of project-based learning. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver cross-platform mobile applications with a strong focus on performance, usability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Mobile Applications: Design, build, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
  • Collaborate with Design & Product Teams: Convert UI/UX designs into smooth, responsive mobile apps in close collaboration with designers and product managers.
  • API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance features and user experience.
  • Debugging & Optimization: Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and stability.
  • Native Module Development: Utilize native development skills in Java/Kotlin (Android) and Swift/Objective-C (iOS) when required for performance-critical tasks.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices.
  • Collaboration & Agile Workflow: Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and use project management tools (e.g., Jira) for efficient workflow.

Skills & Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Strong proficiency in React Native and its ecosystem (components, state management, navigation, hooks).
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Knowledge/experience in native mobile development:
  • Android: Java / Kotlin
  • iOS: Swift / Objective-C
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles with ability to implement them effectively.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Ability to debug and optimize applications across various devices and OS versions.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of clean code principles and performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and app deployment processes.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
