Role & responsibilities

At Exto Project Solutions, we are seeking an experienced Mobile Developer (Flutter) to join our Mobile Development Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver user-friendly and scalable mobile solutions that enhance our product experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobile App Development: Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
  • Feature Implementation: Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality mobile features.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure smooth performance and responsiveness of applications across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Integration: Work with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs to integrate backend services.
  • Testing & Debugging: Develop unit and integration tests, debug issues, and resolve production incidents.
  • Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to improving development processes.
  • App Deployment: Manage builds and deployment for App Store and Google Play, ensuring compliance with guidelines.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise:

3+ years of hands-on experience in Flutter and Dart

Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, BLoC, Provider, Riverpod)

Experience with state management in Flutter
Mobile Platforms:

Proficiency in deploying and debugging apps for both iOS and Android

Familiarity with platform-specific integrations (plugins, native APIs)
Backend Integration:

Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON

Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus
Tools & Practices:

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based build/distribution tools (e.g., Firebase, Codemagic, Bitrise)
Problem-Solving:

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Soft Skills:
Good communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development
  • Familiarity with Firebase services (Crashlytics, Push Notifications, Analytics)
  • Knowledge of app store submission processes and versioning best practices
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Contribution to open-source projects or published apps in App Store/Play Store
