The ideal Software Test Engineer is a meticulous and technically proficient individual with a passion for ensuring software quality. They excel in creating and executing comprehensive test plans, with a keen eye for detail to identify and rectify defects. Effective communication and teamwork skills enable them to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues, driving continuous improvement while maintaining a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
Job Remuneration: According to Industry Standards
Job Location: Delhi, Sultanpur.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar profile.
Responsibilities:
1.      Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of software applications, systems, and processes to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
2.      Testing Procedures: Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to effectively identify and report defects, bugs, and inconsistencies.
3.      Documentation: Create detailed documentation of test results, including bug reports, test summaries, and quality assurance metrics.
4.      Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
5.      Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
6.      Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionalities.
7.      Adherence to Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance and testing.
Qualifications:
1.      Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2.      Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related role.
3.      Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing methodologies, test automation tools (such as Selenium, JUnit), and defect tracking systems (such as Jira, Bugzilla).
4.      Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues.
5.      Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test results, communicate with team members, and collaborate effectively.
6.      Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing processes to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
7.      Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
8.      Team Player: Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
