About the role As a Conduct Risk and Compliance Specialist you’ll have the rare opportunity to: Work across the whole business, including with senior stakeholders, on a wide variety of interesting projects and tasks. Support Tide business and ensure alignment and consistency in how we manage conduct risk across as per the country regulatory requirement & as per Tide’s global standards. Be part of the second line of defence as a trusted advisor who provides an independent perspective. Be central to ensuring that Tide delivers on one of its three core values: member-first. Completing risk assessments on new products and services from a conduct risk perspective to support go/no go decisions. Analysing the results of conduct risk data to measure customer outcomes and identify conduct risks, trends and issues. Providing expert advice and challenge to the business on new projects from a regulatory/customer-first perspective. Providing training to the business on conduct risk, including supporting the roll out of a global conduct risk approach. Supporting other important work such as board and committee reporting, conducting regulatory research and interpreting new regulations and developing conduct risk policies, Customer grievances policies and strategies. What we are looking for: You understand and can interpret the meaning behind financial services regulations (especially where relevant to conduct risk). You’re comfortable working with senior stakeholders and challenging them in the right way where necessary. This requires a level of confidence, strong principles, good communication skills and good soft skills. Proven experience in risk management or Nodal officer roles within financial services industry or payments industry or banks, with a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines & fintech products and market dynamics. Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Customer Protection, Ombudsmen, Dark Patterns and risk management frameworks applicable to Fintech companies in India. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate various types of risks, including compliance, market, credit, liquidity, operational, and conduct risks. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex risk concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven team members skills, with the ability to work within a high-performing risk management team, fostering collaboration, and driving organisational change. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. Professional certifications such as FRM, CAMS, JAIIB, CAIIB, are highly preferred.
