Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior User Experience Designer. As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for our digital learning platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conduct user research, apply design thinking principles, create visual designs, and prototype user interfaces. While this role is primarily located in Hyderabad, there is flexibility for some remote work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user/customer requirements in collaboration with marketing, operations and product managers.
  • Articulate seamless user journey with scenarios, user flows, wireframes, and low- and high-fidelity mocks.
  • Create Information Architecture, Storyboards, User flows, Wireframes, and visual design mockups to support new product and feature development.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how website /mobile apps function and look like.
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Design the visual elements of the user interface, considering user experience and usability.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system that ensures consistency and scalability across the product.
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.


Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design. A strong portfolio that showcases your design process and the ability to solve complex design problems.
  • Advocates for design solutions with rationale including business and user goals.
  • Experience designing for intuitive and delightful user experiences i.e websites and apps.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma (Preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in mobile app UI/UX design and user-centric thinking.
  • Intimate knowledge with Android app design, iOS app design, and both platforms’ Human Interface Guidelines, including Material Design principles.
  • A serious understanding of visual branding concepts.
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, storytelling, and communication skills.
