Role Objective

The Junior Transfer Pricing Team Member will assist in ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations, benchmarking exercises, and filing of relevant transfer pricing forms. This role is focused on supporting the teams efforts in maintaining consistent and accurate transfer pricing policies across the organization, ensuring adherence to global tax guidelines, and enhancing process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing the applicability of transfer pricing regulations across various business functions and geographic regions to ensure compliance with local and international requirements.
  • Support the preparation, maintenance, and timely filing of transfer pricing documentation, forms, and reports in alignment with statutory regulations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Participate in benchmarking studies to assess the arm's length nature of intercompany transactions, including data collection, analysis, and selection of appropriate comparables and methodologies.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements by supporting the evaluation and implementation of technology tools that enhance data collection, compliance, and reporting efficiency within the transfer pricing function.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transfer pricing activities, assisting in performance analysis and the preparation of reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on initiatives to optimize transfer pricing processes, documentation practices, and system enhancements, while adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes and business needs.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax-related roles.
  • Exposure to transfer pricing or related areas is preferable.
  • Experience working in a GCC environment or multinational organization.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred

  • B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified CA or pursuing CA/ICWA

  • Certifications - Basic accounting or finance certifications are advantageous
