About the Role: In this opportunity as a Lead Data Engineer, you will: We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong organizational and technical skills for the position of Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake). You will play a critical role working on cutting edge of Data Engineering and analytics, leveraging predictive models, machine learning and generative AI to drive business insights and facilitating informed decision-making and help Thomson Reuters rapidly scale data-driven initiatives. Effectively communicate across various levels, including Executives, and functions within the global organization. Demonstrate strong leadership skills with ability to drive projects/tasks to delivering value Engage with stakeholders, business analysts and project team to understand the data requirements. Design analytical frameworks to provide insights into a business problem. Explore and visualize multiple data sets to understand data available and prepare data for problem solving. Design database models (if a data mart or operational data store is required to aggregate data for modeling). About You You're a fit for the Lead Data Engineer/ Data, if your background includes: Candidate should have minimum experience of 10-15years of corporate experience Hands-on expertise in Snowflake architecture and development, including performance tuning, data modelling, and secure data sharing. Strong experience with DBT and Apache Airflow for building and orchestrating modular, CI/CD-enabled data pipelines. Proficiency in leveraging AI/ML tools and Cortex Analytics to drive intelligent automation and predictive insights. Ability to map data journeys from operational sources through transformations to enterprise repositories (Data Lake, Warehouse, Master Data). Support master and reference data strategy, ensuring consistency and quality of Finance reference data. Experience with ETL, SQL, and emerging data technologies, including cloud-based analytics integrations. Skilled in building end-to-end data workflows that deliver actionable insights. Understanding of Data Strategy and Data Governance processes. Working knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau. #LI-VGA1 What’s in it For You?
