Job Title: OT Lead - Network Architect
We are seeking a skilled Network Architect with expertise in operational technology (OT) networks and cloud connectivity to join our team as an OT Lead. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OT network architecture and the ability to implement and manage OT setups in factory environments.
The OT Lead will be responsible for segregating traffic through OT networks, firewalls, and cloud services, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity for operational technology systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1 .OT Network Architecture : Design, implement, and maintain OT network architecture to support factory operations, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
2. Cloud Connectivity : Develop and implement strategies for connecting OT systems to cloud services, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data transfer.
3. Traffic Segregation : Segregate traffic through OT networks and firewalls to ensure secure and efficient communication between factory systems and cloud services.
4. Factory Setup: Lead the implementation of OT setups in factory environments, including network infrastructure, devices, and systems integration.
5. Security Management : Implement security measures and protocols to protect OT networks from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Troubleshooting and Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for OT network issues, working closely with factory teams and IT support personnel.
7. Vendor Management : Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services for OT network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with project requirements and budget constraints.
8. Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of OT network architecture, configurations, and procedures, ensuring accessibility and usability for relevant stakeholders.
9 .Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in OT network architecture and operations, implementing best practices and innovative
solutions as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in network architecture, with a focus on operational technology (OT) networks and cloud connectivity.
Strong understanding of OT network protocols, standards, and technologies, such as OPC UA, Modbus, and EtherNet/IP.
Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and their integration with OT systems.
Proficiency in network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control mechanisms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in factory environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Certifications in network security (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security) and cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Need to travel to factories and validate BOM as per requirements.
• Availability of consultant as per factory timing.
• Bengaluru is the base location, Nashik, travel 5 different factory locations
