Summary
As a Cloud Solution Architect you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle for cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, design appropriate cloud solutions, and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations. Your role will be crucial in influencing the customer’s decision-making process and ensuring that our cloud offerings meet their needs. You would also be responsible for building capabilities in cloud domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Sales Support:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact during the presales phase.
- Work with the sales team to understand client needs, business challenges, and technical requirements.
- Develop and present customized cloud solutions and proposals that addresses client requirements and align with their business objectives.
- Solution Design & Architecture:
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide guidance on cloud migration strategies, integration, and best practices.
- Create demo-able assets and POCs to demonstrate expertise.
- Customer Engagement:
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to showcase cloud solutions and capabilities.
- Address technical questions and concerns raised by clients, providing clear and concise explanations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.
- Coordinate with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies and approaches.
- Assist in drafting technical sections of proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Market & Product Knowledge:
- Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Share insights and feedback from customer interactions with internal teams to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution outlines, and implementation plans.
- Provide regular reports on presales activities, customer feedback, and sales pipeline status.
- Certifications:
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect/ AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred.

- Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Background in working with diverse industries and understanding their specific cloud needs.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and techniques.
