Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities:Network Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.VMware Administration: Manage virtual environments using VMware, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.Firewall Management: Configure and maintain Fortigate firewalls to ensure network security and integrity.Active Directory Administration: Administer Windows Active Directory, managing user accounts, group policies, and access controls.Network Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, providing technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise:Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies.Strong experience with Fortigate firewall configuration and management.In-depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory.Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.Project Management: Experience in managing network projects from planning to execution.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
Certifications : Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Fortinet NSE, and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are highly desirable.Additional Certifications:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).Experience with Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud networking and security practices.
Experience:
Typically, 3-5 years of experience in network administration or a related field.
