Role Overview - This is a cross-functional role for someone who wants hands-on exposure across finance, operations, and sales support functions. You’ll work closely with the leadership team, supporting financial analysis, operational workflows, sales coordination, reporting, and strategic decision-making. This internship is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in fintech, NBFC operations, business strategy, or revenue operations. High-performing interns may receive a PPO or full-time offer. Key Responsibilities - Finance & Strategy: Maintain & update the 3-statement financial model and cash runway weekly. Work on unit economics, pricing analysis, and sensitivity modelling for strategic decisions. Support creation of board/investor decks and maintain the data room. Track weekly KPIs, identify trends, and draft concise weekly founder updates. Sales Support: Assist the sales team with client onboarding, documentation, and coordination. Prepare sales reports, performance summaries, and pipeline dashboards. Conduct basic market research, competitor analysis, and pricing benchmarking. Support sales ops in managing CRM hygiene (Leads, status updates, follow-ups). Coordinate internally to resolve bottlenecks affecting sales closures. Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with finance, sales, product, and risk teams to ensure smooth workflows. Support end-to-end operational processes related to client servicing and transaction tracking. Assist in process documentation, SOP creation, and workflow optimization. Handle ad-hoc business analysis, operations tasks, and generalist responsibilities as needed. Key Qualifications & Skills- Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills. Ability to structure clean presentations and communicate insights clearly. Attention to detail with a focus on numerical accuracy. Highly organized with strong follow-up capabilities (important for sales support). Comfortable multitasking across finance, sales, and operations. Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Notion, CRM, SQL / Python is a plus. Core Competencies - Accuracy: Zero-error approach to numbers and documentation. Speed & Responsiveness: Ability to turn around tasks quickly, especially sales and ops requests. Cross-Functional Coordination: Smooth communication across teams. Problem Solving: Ability to unblock issues and propose workable solutions. Proactive Ownership: Taking initiative without constant supervision. Learning Opportunities - Exposure to core NBFC operations, revenue workflows, and trade finance products. Hands-on experience in sales support, business analysis, financial modelling & KPI tracking. Work directly with leadership and multiple business functions. Opportunity for PPO/full-time based on performance. Eligibility - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or related fields. Strong interest in fintech, NBFCs, sales operations, or business strategy. Analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
