Overview As a BI Leadyou will play a crucial role in overseeing the development andimplementation of business intelligence solutions. You will beresponsible for guiding a team of BI developers analysts andadministrators to ensure effective data management analytics andreporting. Additionally you will collaborate with businessstakeholders to understand their requirements and deliveractionable insights that drive informeddecisionmaking.Keyresponsibilities
  • Lead and manage ateam of BI professionals providing guidance and support in theexecution of projects and dailyoperations
  • Design and develop scalable andefficient data models ensuring data integrity and optimization forreporting and analytics
  • Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders to gather requirements understand key metricsand translate business needs into technicalsolutions
  • Oversee the implementation andmaintenance of data warehousing solutions ensuring accuracy andconsistency of data
  • Manage the endtoend ETLprocess from data extraction to transformation and loading ensuringdata quality and reliability
  • Develop andoptimize SQL queries and scripts for data analysis and reportingpurposes
  • Evaluate and select appropriate BItools and technologies to meet business objectives ensuringalignment with industry best practices
  • Createand maintain documentation for BI processes data models andreporting standards
  • Provide training andsupport to users on BI tools and reportingplatforms
  • Stay updated on industry trends andadvancements in business intelligence and analytics to recommendinnovative solutions
  • Participate in strategicplanning and contribute to the development of BI roadmaps and datagovernance policies
  • Collaborate with IT teamsto ensure the security and scalability of BIsolutions
  • Monitor performance and usage of BIsystems proactively identifying and addressing issues to maintainoptimal functionality
  • Lead and participate incrossfunctional teams to drive BI initiatives andprojects
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of BI processes methodologies and bestpractices
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Systems or related field; Mastersdegree preferred
  • Proven experience in aleadership role within the BI and analyticsdomain
  • Indepth knowledge of data warehousingconcepts design principles and implementation bestpractices
  • Proficiency in ETL processes andtools with the ability to optimize data flows andtransformations
  • Strong expertise in SQL anddatabase management with the ability to write complex queries andoptimize database performance
  • Experience withBI tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar platforms for datavisualization and reporting
  • Familiarity withcloudbased BI solutions and data storage systems such as AWSRedshift or Azure SQL Data Warehouse
  • Ability tounderstand business processes and translate them into datarequirements and analytical solutions
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to workeffectively with crossfunctional teams and seniorleadership
  • Proven track record of successfulproject management and ability to drive results in a fastpaceddynamic environment
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail andcommitment to data accuracy
  • Solid understandingof data governance and regulatory compliance requirements inrelation to business intelligencesolutions
  • Certifications in BI and analyticstechnologies (e.g. Certified Business Intelligence Professional)are a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changingpriorities and business needs while maintaining a focus ondelivering highquality solutions
  • Demonstratedleadership qualities including mentorship coaching and fostering acollaborative team culture
