Dredging Operations India Apply nowYour responsibilities Your profile Our offerOperational Planning - Translate overall Project Plan to a planning for the operational activities within the project, ensure the availability of the required means and adjust
planning if required.
Works Execution - Organise and ensure the overall execution of the operations, coordinate the works on site, advise on improving project execution, in line with operational planning, budget and QHSE-S standards.
Monitoring - Monitor the performance of the work, quality of the work and relevant KPI’s and take countermeasures when necessary, in line with the applicable guidelines and procedures.
Logistics - Organise the logistics within the scope of own operational area of responsibility in cooperation with Technical Department and other relevant stakeholders.
Reporting - Evaluate and report on the project phases and end results of the project, analyse non-conformities and complaints and make proposals for improvement.
Production Management and Improvement - (Co)develop, implement, optimise and/or continuously improve work processes, productions and working methodologies.
Contract Knowledge - Keep up-to-date with contract specifications
regarding quality, planning and budget, ensure necessary contract administration and signal
deviations, risks and opportunities in the contract and in project execution according to contractual agreements.
QHSE-S - Comply with QHSE-S objectives and ensure QHSE-S compliance and works execution in line with these objectives, and take corrective and
preventive measures if necessary, as well as draw proposals for improvement.
People Management - Plan, lead and develop project members, assure adequate training of personnel.
B.E., or B. Tech Civil Graduates or Marine Engineering candidates with experience of working at least 10 + years in project sites of reputed construction companies or Marine Fields. Fluency in oral and written English Those who are motivated to work in Dredging / Marine / Offshore activities. Practical, hands-on desired experienced candidates would be given preference. Works Manager

Production engineer
A production engineer working in the EDT department (Engineering, Design & Technology) provides support in both tender and execution stage of a dredging & land reclamation project.
It involves close cooperation between various departments, project teams and experienced crew on board of our fleet. Through a methodical, systematic and structured approach based on both theoretical and practical insights, we create as a team expert advice, profound analyses and smart solutions to bring operational excellence in DEME to a higher level. You will work as a part of the EDT team in our HQ in Zwijndrecht, near Antwerp (Belgium). Close follow-up, coaching and guidance will be provided of course by Senior colleagues in our team.
Next to production engineering, the EDT team in activity line Dredging provides support as well in Geology, Geotechnics, Coastal Engineering, Environmental engineering and Wear &Tear expertise. This makes the EDT team highly divers in expertise and as such complementary to cover many expert aspects in supporting our projects.
Environmental Engineer
Our Environmental Engineering Team is operating from the HQ in Zwijndrecht as a central working place. However, working in direct support for different tenders and projects worldwide, dedicated international long-term site assignments (both on ALO and ALD works) form a significant part of your assignment - to explore and deploy environmental engineering solutions throughout DEME’s business line.
As an active member of the limited Environmental Engineering Team of the DEME-group, you hold a unique and frontrunning position within our organisation. Both delivering supporting “excellence” services for all Activity Lines within our international marine contractor’s organisation (DEME-group) and exploring innovative environmental business opportunities form the core of your activities. Waterboss / Marine Superintendent dredging projects
As a Waterboss/Marine Superintendent, you are responsible for the floating auxiliary equipment on our dredging projects:
multicats, pontoons, anchors, sinkers and floating line movements. You monitor all activities on the water.
